It's been a crazy holiday season and i'm trying to catch up with posting on the new blog and facebook.

From last week's Baby session in Manhattan:

Abby is about 5 months old.

Michael - Newborn Christmas Portrait || Mount Vernon Newborn Photographer || Westchester NY

It was the end of the session, and I asked Michael's mom if there was any other shot that she had in mind... The answer came pretty quickly and before I knew it the Santa outfit was already on the now sleeping (3 week old) baby.

I don't use the Christmas tree often but in this case the "conditions" were perfect: A Beautifully decorated tree with plenty of gifts, a sleeping newborn baby dressed in a santa outfit and a box that fit him just perfectly...

He was so comfortable sleeping there that we almost didn't feel the need to get him out of there...

Owen - Manhattan Baby Portraits, Studio session on location.

Since I just posted about babies and their dogs, it didn't feel right to not blog about the following baby portrait session.

Owen was 6 months when I photographed him with his dog last month in their Manhattan apartment...

Jewelry/ Product Photography Studio on location - Long Island, Westchester and NYC

In the peak of the holiday season rush, when I've been going from one portrait session to the next, it was a nice change of pace when on Monday I got to shoot a commercial (jewelry photography) job.

I was hired by a very successful and well known jewelry designer who needed product (and model) shots for her upcoming website.

Its not unusual to hear my clients request a portrait of their baby along with the family dog...

Gigi, the family's King Charles Cavalier was a very willing subject... Though 7 week old Andre didn't need any help in making an adorable photograph...

Nadya, 6 month || Baby portraits at home, Queens NY

Probably my favorite part of the holiday season is getting to work with my old clients and seeing their children (and family) grow.

You most likely don't recognize this little girl named Nadya, who I photographed at her Howard Beach home yesterday... Nadya is the "XOXO" newborn in the newborn gallery... She is now 6 months old.

Hailey just turned one and her mom hired me to come up to Yorktown Heights to do her portraits...

Katie and Paige - Port Washington Studio on location

Last year Patricia hired me to photograph her daughter Katie along with Mini, the family's Welsh Terrier.



This year Patricia had me come back... Mini was still being her usual cute self, but Katie had a new sidekick... Her baby sister Paige who is now 6 months old and ridiculously adorable.

Though initially not thought possible... Katie got even cuter!
