What our Newborn, Maternity, Pets and other photography clients have to say...

I am trying to stay on top of the task of posting client emails as they come in.

For the longest time I had put the whole testimonial page aside and forgot about it, but when I removed it from the portrait site to make room for the Maternity Photography Gallery I had a few people asking me if I could show them something other Newborn or Maternity clients had to say...
So from now on you can access some of the reviews by clicking on this button:

Pet Portraits in NYC

Just a couple of portraits from a recent pet photography session I did in Manhattan.

Pet Portraits in NYC

Thor and Bjorn aren't just miniature poodles with the coolest names, they also happen to have awesome owners... Marc and Rene.

This session was a gift from Marc, which I'm pretty sure Rene loved :)

What every photographer loves to hear, in the words Marc:

"Rene has been on the website and loves all the pictures – so not exactly sure what she has ordered….but my guess is quite a few"

Newborn photography session in Sayville (Long Island, NY)

On a recent Sunday afternoon I got back to my desk to find a couple of emails and a voicemail from a new mommy named Tania, who apparently was very eager to book a newborn session for her baby a.s.a.p.

Tania told me she had taken her 2 week old baby to a portrait studio and had an overall unpleasent experience, "it was cold and the guy wasn't very patient or nice"...

Apparently little Anthony Jr. was letting everyone know he wasn't happy to be there and the session was canceled, which led Tania to start googling for a photographer on Long Island who would come to her home and set up a studio there.... the rest is history.

I had a great time working with Tania and her husband Anthony... we took our time and, as I always do, gave Anthony Jr. a couple of breaks whenever he was starting to get a little cranky.

I don't know if he was just gassy or what, but this baby had so many different expressions and sooo much character... He even did his trademark "Elvis" a couple of times...

and even smiled on a couple of occasions...

On my ride home from the session I already received a call from one of Tania's friends, as well as this super nice email from Tania :

It was so great meeting you Roy! You were AMAZING! I just feel bad that you wouldn't let us buy you lunch. AJ was so good with you. I will definitely recommend you to my friends--I already bragged about you on Facebook...

Thank you Tania! :)

When visiting the Portrait website you will notice that the Maternity pictures now have their own gallery (currently named "bellies") as opposed to being mixed in with the newborn photographs like before.
